Resveratrol is a substance with antioxidant properties found in red wine, grapes, raspberries and peanuts.
Chlorella is a form of microscopic algae and one of the oldest life-forms on our planet; it is one of the first organisms to use chlorophyll to convert sunlight into energy. Chlorella is included in the formulation of Immunotec's Multi + Resveratrol because it provides a natural source of an incredible array of nutrients: proteins, essential amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins, macrominerals, trace elements, and phytochemicals. Chlorella is such an incredible source of nutrients, it has been nicknamed a "superfood."
First established in 1943, RDA stands for "recommended daily allowance". It represents the minimal amount of a vitamin needed to prevent illness. (For examples, a deficiency of vitamin C may cause scurvy. A deficiency in vitamin B or niacin may cause pellagra). RDI is a similar term which stands for Recommended Daily Intake. DRI is a newer term standing for "dietary reference intake".

Immunotec's medical professionals suggest that in order for calcium to be taken in appropriate doses a stand-alone supplement should be used.
Vitamin K may not be appropriate for people on anticoagulants (blood thinners) or for people who bleed or bruise easily. Immunotec did not want to exclude these people from benefitting from the product.
Transparent capsules have been used to avoid the incorporation of the chemical agents required in coloured capsules.
Rarely, an individual who is sensitive to niacin may experience a "Niacin Flush" which is a feeling of heat and visible redness of the skin after exposure to vitamin B3. This will disappear over time and requires no treatment. Each time niacin is taken, the flush may get less severe. Niacin flush may be avoided by taking the supplement with food.
